Adidas unveiled a new logo for the brand’s upcoming Power Play jerseys, which the company is using to market its newly designed Power Play products.
The new design, which will debut in 2019, is based on Adidas’ popular “Power Play” graphic that has previously been used by Nike and the NFL.
Adidas’ new logo features a series of vertical stripes in three directions across the top of the jersey, along with the word “Power” and a power icon on the collar.
The Power Play logo also features three horizontal lines, with three horizontal bars, in the upper part of the logo.
It also features a yellow lightning bolt in the center, and the words “Power.”
Adidas said in a statement that the new logo “is a bold, powerful and dynamic statement that sets Adidas apart from the rest of the pack in the Power Play category.”
The Adidas Power Play collection, which is expected to debut later this year, features a variety of colorways that will offer players a variety in how they’ll display the Power Icon on the chest, and how the jersey is constructed.
Adidas also debuted the new Nike Air Max 1 “Power Pack” collection at the end of March, which also includes the Power Pack “Power Ball,” “Power Tee,” “Speedball,” and “Power Shoe.”
The Nike Air Ultra “Power Basketball” collection is expected later this fall.
