The Thai volleyball team had won a thrilling 3-2 series lead on Wednesday against the Netherlands’ volleyball team to open the 2017 International Volleyball Tournament in Bangkok.
The game started with the ball rolling into the stands at the MRT station on the outskirts of Bangkok and then the Thai team raced off in the first half to tie it at 3-3.
It was not long before the Dutch team went on a winning run to go up 4-3 in the opening minutes.
The Thai team responded by going on a 10-0 run and going up 6-3 by the end of the first period.
The Dutch team was able to keep the lead at 5-3 before the Thai players finally scored twice in the closing seconds to take a 6-4 lead.
It took a minute and a half for the Thai to score a goal to tie the game and then a minute longer before the Netherlands team scored twice to give Thailand a 5-4 win.
The team had a great effort in the game.
We will continue to do that until we reach the next stage of the tournament.
