The first wave of Australian volleyball players who’ve made the final have had an extraordinary experience.
They’ve been on a trip to the Olympic village to watch the women’s volleyball team, the national team, play their first matches.
It’s an incredible experience and I can’t say enough about the support we have received.
There’s no doubt that they’ve been treated very well by our coaches and our support staff.
When we’re not on a tour of the world, our families are always there to help and be with us.
I think it’s very touching to see the support that our community has shown for our team and I know it’s a special moment for all of us.
We’re all so proud of them and they’re so proud to represent Australia.
I just think they’ve all been so proud and we’re really honoured.
The women have been incredibly resilient, too, they’re playing well and it’s an amazing story and I’m so proud that they are the first Australians to make the final.
They’ve had the support of our fans, too.
The support of all our players and the support from the fans has been amazing.
They’re all out there for each other, for the team and for the country.
They’re all going to play for each others’ country, too and that’s what I want them to do.
I just want them all to be very proud of each other and I hope that the country, the Australian community, the country as a whole will support them.
We will be going out and playing at the World Cup in Australia, which is really special, but I know that everyone in Australia is looking forward to watching the game.
